Maulidur Rasul di Masjid Kg Bunut

Sedikit tentang kelebihan Majlis Maulidur Rasul:

Ada seorang pemuda di Kota Basrah yang dikenali sebagai seorang yang sangat boros dan rendah akhlaknya. Masyarakat Basrah memandang rendah terhadap pemuda ini. Namun setiap datang bulan Rabielawwal, pemuda ini akan menyediakan pakaian terbaik, berharum-haruman serta dimintanya dibacakan kisah Maulidur Rasul.

Apabila pemuda ini meninggal dunia, kedengaran satu suara menyeru, "Hai penduduk Basrah, segeralah ziarah pada seorang wali Allah yang baru menghadap Tuhannya."

Setelah jenezahnya selesai dikebumikan, ada penduduk Basrah yang bermimpi pemuda ini berpakaian dengan pakaian syurga (sondosen wastabraq) bersiar-siar dengan penuh ceria.

Apabila ditanya bagaimana dia mendapat kedudukan yang begitu tinggi, spontan pemuda itu menjawap,"Aku amat mengambil berat terhadap Majlis Maulidur Rasul s.a.w."
