Living with the dead

A 90-year old woman apparently have been living in a house with the bodies of three siblings, one of them may have been dead since the early 1980s.

The bodies were found on Friday, 7th Nov 2008 in Evanston, a Chicago surburb, after authorities were called by a senior advocate.

The woman was taken to a hospital for observation but her identity was not released.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said Saturday that the three people died of natural causes, but did not say how long they might have been dead. 

Neighbours described the woman as alert and aware; she was also well-liked in their close-knit block.
